Folytatva a kedvenc albumok bemutatását, ma a Traffic zenekarral foglalkozunk. Steve Winwood énekes, billentyűs a hatvanas évek közepén a múltkor benutatott Spencer Davis Group tagja volt. Ő azonban beleunt, hogy velük állandóan csak slágerzenéket nyomnak, ő inkább a jazz felé húzott volna. Úgy határozott, hogy kilép a bandából és 1967-ben saját zenekart alapít Traffic néven. A banda 1969-ben ideiglenesen feloszlott, ekkor volt Winwood a rövid életű szupergroup a Blind Faith tagja, majd tovább építgette a Traffic karrierjét. az együttes 1974-ig létezett.
Traffic 1973-ban
Az együttes debütáló lemeze 1967-ben jelent meg "Mr. Fantasy" címmel, melyet feloszlásukig még hét kiadott album követett. Az együttesre a kidolgozott, igényes koncertelőadás volt a jellemző, amellyel nagy népszerűségnek örvendett. A kiválasztott album, az 1967-ben kiadott "Heaven Is In Youi Mind", bónuszfelvételekkel megspékelve, 2000-ben újrakevert változatba fülelhetünk bele.
